Manchester Boys U14 team were league champions this year – squad details and a short summary here (thanks to Matt @W. Hulme’s).

Also, please see request below for an U14 coach – Pleeeeease can someone step forward as there will not be an U14 team next year without staff.

*Manchester Representative School Boys Football- Coaches required*

Manchester Boys is an establishment that has been at the forefront of schoolboy football for over a century and have had many famous footballers come through their ranks.  Sides often challenge for both regional and national honours with a large selection pool of almost 30 schools. We are looking for a coach to lead our u14’s side next year with provision already arranged for kit, training and facilities- we just need someone who can commit to some Saturday mornings!!

This is a great opportunity to work with lads who are looking for a future at the elite level of the game with many of our boys already at academies and strong links with clubs such as Oldham, Huddersfield, Man Utd, Bury and Rochdale. We are looking for qualified teachers who maybe looking to work in elite football, hoping to expand their coaching skills or just wanting to work with some fantastic young people from across Manchester.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of FA level 1 (up to date CRB/First Aid)
  • Currently work in a school environment
  • Passion and enthusiasm for schoolboy representative football
  • Ability to liaise with parents, schools, clubs and scouts

If you are interested or would just like to ask some further questions, please do not hesitate to contact matthew.atherton@whgs-academy.org who is one of our current coaches.
