With 196 teams taking part (that’s almost 800 students) the Manchester Schools Indoor Rowing Competition was a great success. Schools took part from across Manchester with teams also participating from Stockport and Trafford.

Results are attached, plus an overall mainstream results sheet, so that you can compare your performance against the strongest teams who took part. Please display the relevant sections on your School Games notice board.

Apologies to the Manchester schools as I have only reported the top 3 positions  –  didn’t have time to do all the results and get them out today, but hope to after the Christmas break.

Many thanks again to the team of 60 Young Leaders from Levenshulme High School who were brilliant throughout the event, and to the PE staff for all their help.

The Year Group & Gender winners from each borough will now qualify for the GM Level 3 School Games Finals on 23rd February 2016.
