£200m summer schools funding details: 5 things you need to know

DfE announce Primary PE and Sport Premium deadline extension

17/03/21 Today, the Department for Education (DfE) will be contacting primary schools today to let them know that they have extended the 31st March deadline for spending the Primary PE and Sport Premium funding that was carried forward from the 2019/20 academic year. Covid-19: Sports equipment presents ‘low risk’

The risk of coronavirus transmission from sharing sports equipment is “lower than once thought”, a study suggests. Researchers, led by Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, applied live virus particles to nine types of sports equipment and a control material.
